So Cancerous

A person has cancer when it there are cells in the body that have turned bad. These cells can spread and eat away at the body. This can happen to people in the spiritual realm as well.

When we allow certain cells (feelings, or ideas) to grow in our lives we are becoming cancerous. If we are envying others we are acting cancerous. We have allowed the envy cell to grow in our body and manifest its self in to a feeling. It is never good to be jealous of anyone. Reason being when you are a believer, all things are possible for you so you don't have to envy anyone.

Other cancerous cells can be greed, lust, the love of money, idolatry, or even selfishness. But there is good news!!!! Any cell that is in you that wasn't planted by God can be uprooted. It is time for a change! Start asking God to help you identify your cancerous ways and to help you to change them. That way you will be walking in they way that he intended.

Talk like Jesus

In the middle of chaos Jesus spoke to the situation and it was changed. We have the same ability as Jesus. When situations are rocky or not as you plan them to be, change them! Speak the outcome and wait for it to come to pass!  I believe people don't realize how powerful their words are. God created everything by using words, Jesus changed situations by using words, so why don't believers change things using words?

Mark 4:39 KJV
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. This is an example of words changing situations. When I truly started studying The Word I only had a small amount of faith in my words. But, now I know the power in words. I have watched my words make drastic changes in my life. From depressed to success.

What are you speaking? How are your words molding your life? If you don't like how things are around you change you words!

Content

God wants us to be satisfied where we are today! Knowing that if he doesn't do anything else for us he has already done enough. What more could God do for you to make you happy? He has given you life and sacrificed his ONLY son so you could live freely. Isn't that enough?

In say it is but that is just me. If you spend enough time talking to people you would find many who say I'd be happy if...... Do you have an I'd be happy if??? Well if you do we need to change you mind! Paul tells us to be content with what we have right now! Philippians 4:11 AMP Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.

Whatever we have or don't have should be OK with us. Where we are today is a result of our own actions. So settle in knowing that God wants more for us but if we never get it, its OK! Jesus paid the ultimate price so we can live! That alone should keep you content!

Master of disguise

When we turn our will over and surrender to Gods way of living, the enemy gets angry. At the point of your surrender the enemy becomes powerless over you. That makes him angry. When he gets angry he has to try harder to win you away from God. When you are walking with him he doesn't need to attack you because he has you. It is when you turn your will over to God that the enemy has to try to win you back. When we live in sin we walk blindly with the enemy. This makes him happy.

The enemy is the master if disguise. He is the king of lies and the author of confusion. Living with the enemy will eventually end with you in trouble. Proverbs 14:12 AMP There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.

 God wants us to have life! Not living a life of lies and confusion. Jesus tells us  in John 10:10 KJV The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

So I say choose God and life! With his way you can't go wrong!

Touched Shoulders

Guarantee

Sin is guaranteed to all of us. We are all imperfect. The only person who never sinned is Jesus. As Christians we must know that we will fall short. God knows it and we should too. The problem comes if we think that we don't sin.  John 1:8 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

When we sin we should use it to help ourselves grow. It is a chance for us to see where we are falling short and learn from it. When we sin it doesn't make us bad people it makes us human. We must press towards living Gods way, and in order to do that we must identify our faults, learn from them, and keep going!

Love in your own way

God gives us many different instructions on love. He tells us the traits that love has. He even tells us how often and whom we are to love. But he never hells us how we are supposed to express our love.

With the billions of different personalities in the world, God doesn't tell us to express our love in the same way. Some people express love by giving. Others by spending time. Some people with money. Others  with words or touch. None the less it doesn't mean one person loves more or less than the other. With expressing love differently we still have basic rules to follow.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 AMP
Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. [5] It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it it pays no attention to a suffered wrong. [6] It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. [7] Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening. [8] Love never fails never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end.

No matter how you show your love it must follow God's guidelines in order to be real!

Gentle Kindness

Every now and then people come alone and there is just "something" about them. Some people have a beaming personality others a great sense of humor. But sometimes some people are so gentle and so kind. I like to call this gentle kindness.

This gentle kindness is as refreshing as when the wind blows and you feel it upon your cheek. Or when the first ray of sun shines down in the morning. Gentle kindness is a way of living. A way that God called for us to live.

Gentle kindness being nice to those who are mean to you. It is speaking softly even in anger. Gentle kindness is a soft touch. In today's world gentle kindness is what is needed. It is very easy to be mean and angry. To display gentle kindness is a challenge that we should place upon ourselves to display in our daily lives. 

Let your gentle kindness touch others.

Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Protection

 

 

 

It is not enough that God himself keeps us from harm. He so loves us and wants to be kept safe that he has his angel surrounding us. All we have to do is have reverence of the Lord and we are safer than any non believer.

 

It is such a comforting feeling to know that God protects me and keeps his angels around me. Therefore nothing could possibly harm me. If you don't have revelation on this I suggest you read your word because this is the best protection you could ever have.



Illuminate

The Bible tells us to let our light so shine. Many people forget about this simple instruction.  I am here to tell you not to. Never forget that God wants you to be the light for other people.

As I look back over my life I am blessed to see the lights that shined in my life.  If it were not for the people who prayed for me, supported, and encouraged me, I don't know where I would be.

As an adult I have made it a mission to personally thank my Lights. They probably never knew that they were a light in my life, but they were. Even today I can still see their lights in my life. In a dark place all lights have a wonderful glow. 

Along your journey you should be a light to others. Let your light so shine that it may help someone else out if the darkness.  If your light illuminates God then it will help others. Live a life that is pleasing to God and people will be drawn to your light.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
