God's Gift

God loves us so much that by his grace he gives to us. He gives to us even when we sin. Simply because he wants to. God gives us new grace daily and out of his love and grace he gave his only son so we could live. What a wonderful gift!

I AM in Control ~ By Min Qui

I am the only one who can stop myself from succeeding. I am the only one who can put a limit on what God has called me to do. Therefore, I am the one who can remove all limits, pull down strongholds, and push thru every barrier that tries to get me off track. I AM in control of my everyday life; for there is NO weapon formed against me that will ever come close to prospering.
Know that God sees us...and He is watching to see how our hearts respond in difficult times, not our minds or even our flesh.

End up

Not where you start in life but where you finish. I know its a little cliché but it it the truth. God doesn't concern himself with the things of our past. We do! All God cares about is us Turing our will over to him. Then striving to live as he has called us to! Once we do that we will receive our crown.

Everyone has struggles in life. Some more than others. Once we have victoriously come through that struggle, we are that much better. That struggle you have gone tthrough was a good fight! Good because you won!

2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Picked

God has picked and chosen us for his purpose. That makes us special. When something is selected it is done specifically. That makes it even more special than just being assigned.

God has picked us to show off in. He has chosen us to glorify him. He wants us to show others how great he has been to us and to draw them in to his kingdom.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

It is time for us to start seeking the reason why he choose us and to live it to the maximum potential. That way we can fulfill his purpose in our life.

GPS

The Word of God is a GPS. It is God's Positioning System. Just like a GPS system tells you your location and the direction you need to go. So does the Bible. The Bible is a way for you to gauge where you are at this current moment.

It will show you the areas you need to improve on. Then it will point you in the right direction. If you want to live like Jesus type God like in your GPS and allow God's word to order your steps.

Who told you?

In Genesis 3:11 God asked Adam who told you you were naked? So just like God asked, I'm asking you who told you that you were ugly, lonely, depressed, stupid, unworthy, or any of the other negative things you believe about yourself? The image most people have of themself was molded by others. Both positive and negative. Well all the negativity was not God breathed therefore it is all lies!

God says, we are more than conquerors in all things! Therefore, if you conquer all things, then those negative lies Do NOT apply to you. What matters is what God says! So I challenge you to look at yourself and see who told you! If it doesn't line up with God's word remove it and replace it with God's words of love and truth.

Romans 8:37 KJV
... in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Just Live It

What is the point in reading, studying, and meditating on God's word if you are not going to apply it to your life? If you invest money in a market you expect it to grow and make more money. Well the same is true with God's word. When you study, read, and meditate on God's word you are supposed to grow! God's word is an investment! If you invest your life you will grow and become better.

This happened by investing in the Word! You can just read the word, or listen to the word and expect changes. You have to be a doer of the word. You have to apply ALL the lessons in the Word to your life.

James 1:22-23 KJV
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. [23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

We have to be willing to Live God's word if we want the Godly life style. The man whom hears and does will be far better off than just the hearer.

Move Forward

In order to be successful you must move forward. Moving forward doesn't mean that you weren't hurt, angry, or upset by what happens. It means that you are choosing to press toward your goal. If you get caught up in what has past you are unable to move forward because you get stuck.

Paul tells us to move forward. Philippians 3:13-14 AMP
I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own yet; but one thing I do it is my one aspiration: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, [14] I press on toward the goal to win the supreme and heavenly prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

Even if you don't feel like it press forward toward your goal. When we get stuck in one place we allow the enemy an opportunity to come in a kick us while we are down! No matter what you are going through right now, or have been through in the past you can make the choice to keep moving forward! Your goal isn't far away!

Live for yourself

Being Christian is not a journey for everybody. It is a conscious choice that a person makes for them self. You can never force anyone to agree with your belief system. All you can do is give them appropriate knowledge and have faith in God that they will come to a true understanding of the truth. Sometimes in life we want things for others more than they want it for themselves. At that point in time it stinks. You want the peace, joy, love, prosperity, and happiness to fill that person's life but you can't force  it on them. God feels the same way about us. He wants us to love him, to need him, and to have faith in him but he will never force us.

God gives us instructions that can make us closer to him. We just have to follow the instructions. That is where the problem comes in. We as natural fleshy beings want to do things that feel good to us. However, when we follow God we are called to do things that do feel good to our flesh. Yet, they are good for our spirit. Look at Abram I'm sure when God told him to leave it didn't feel good to his flesh.

Genesis 12:1-3 KJV
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: [2] And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: [3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

If we want the same promises that God gave to Abram we have to be willing to follow, even if it doesn't feel good to our flesh.
